There were 5 on the sled and the little one said . . .

BME (Best Mom Ever) that was my name for the day -- according to Kyler anyways.  We woke up this morning to snow, enough for a mini-sledding party.  Nothing was on the agenda until the other kids got out of school (one of the benefits of morning kindergarten).  So out went the invite to some of his kindergarten buddies and out came the sleds.

By the time Taylei and Keanna got out of school most of the snow had melted.  Taylei wondered what happened to it all.  She observed the sledders for a moment and then realized it was being eaten.  Delicious!

This group of kids were awesome.  They stopped for a treat of Cadbury Mini Eggs (Easter candy with a sledding party?  Is that kind of an oxymoron?).  They were still in want of a little something more to snack on so I got out a bucket of popcorn.  My only requirement: back outside to eat it.  I hate a popcorn mess and although popcorn is always in the pantry it seldom gets popped.  The kids were happy as can be to put gloves, coats, boots, hats etc. back on in order to indulge in the buttery goodness making a win/win deal for all parties.
